British artist Michael Whittle’s exhibition, The Topology of Being, consists of recent ink on paper drawings and prints. Whittle is a former biochemist who returned to college as an art student and earned an MA in sculpture from the Royal College of Art in 2005.

Whittle has exhibited in London at the Laura Bartlett Gallery and at Kyoto University, Japan, where he studied in 2004. He is the recipient of the Kyoto City University of the Arts Scholarship, the Daler Rowney RCA Drawing Prize and the Farquhar Reid Trust Art Prize.
