Walker’s second film project, Eight Possible Beginnings… employs a series of montages using animated cut-paper marionettes to draw a picture of the nascent Antebellum South that is at times darkly menacing, and at others disturbingly comical. Likewise, Walker has added the element of sound – popular music from the turn of the century and her own narration – to the film.
