Poetic Paintings is a show of recent abstract oil paintings and drawings by two artists; Mark Vinsun, MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and his student Kurt Clarke, a young Jamaican painter. Mark Vinsun’s work has been influenced by his apprenticeships to abstract expressionists Esteban Vicente and Fred Mitchel and he has developed a distinctive palette of rich colors inspired by his travels to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
