Luxury Goods is a group show curated by Beth Rudin DeWoody that interrogates the obsessive visuality of high-end commodities, consumer culture, and lifestyle both public and private. By recreating high-end retail products and environments by hand, these artists’ works force our reconsideration of value and such purpose of items in a way that isn’t likely to happen when browsing the real thing.
