There isn’t a town in the United States that doesn’t have memorable people. They can be the famous people that have gone on to recieve the recognition of a more widespread poulation, or they can be local yokels; big fish in a small pond. There isn’t a person in the area that doesn’t know there name, or the name given to them by the local kids. Stories of these people’s grandeur getting passed on in bathroom stalls, on playgrounds, and street corners.
The biographies of these hometown heroes provide enough material to feed their fame, but frequently their stories roll from one person to another like tumbleweed. Their tales growing taller everytime a new person lends an ear.
