Between 1987 & 1997 Noah Lyon lived in a room where he made stuff day and night. Visitors amazed by the work were also baffled by the fact that he also slept in the room. People often asked how long it took to make, to which he always replied “Oh, it’s not done yet…it’s just my room…it changes everyday” It wasn’t until 1997 when Nan Goldin visited the room and called it “a beautiful installation” that Lyon titled it. As soon as it was giving a title he left the room and the walls became white again. Word is bond.
