Partly written in Spanish, and partly in English, the sculpture’s title references scaffolding, temporariness, and frameworks—the characteristics itself of this work. Assembled with fluorescent light tubes, glass, and other familiar objects, the sculpture, which is modular, resembles the ladder-and platform-type mechanism of scaffolding that adorns the facades of a plethora of buildings under renovation or construction in this very city.
