In collaboration with the Indo-American Arts Council, the QMA presents the third installment of Erasing Borders. Curated by Vijay Kumar, the 20 featured artists were born in India and have since settled in the West. Their work melds Indian and Western colors and forms in various media, with subject matter grappling with diverse subject matter, including AIDS, poverty, identity as a South Asian living in the post-9/11 world, and religious sexual, and ethnic identities. The exhibition features Reeta Karmarkar, Vijay Kumar, Bivas Choudhry, Satish Joshi, Siona Benjamin, Tara Sabharwal, Nitin Mukul, Ela shah, Vinod Dave, Nandini Chirimar, Antonio Puri, Anna Bhusan, Delna Dastur, Niyeti Chadha, Alka Mukerji and Yamini Nayar.
