Inspired by author Chinua Achebe’s novel Things Fall Apart and in response to Napolean Bonaparte’s quote “History is but a fiction agreed upon” this mixed media exhibition looks at seven artists that use abstraction, fragmentation and recontextualization as a means of understanding and critiquing the politics and representation of contemporary myths.
