Noah Sheldon’s sculptures, photographs, sound pieces and video are meditations tangentially related to his work as a professional photographer. His sound projects and video generate hypothetical locations such as the banks of a river he never visited in Venezuela, or a night spent watching fireflies illuminate a palm oil plantation in Malaysia; the artist never visited these locations, but has synthesized them from an accumulation of his photographs, sound recordings and animation.
