Cavin-Morris Gallery is pleased to announce a summer exhibition of artists we have shown in our first year at our new location, as well as a sampling of new directions and interests to the gallery. We will be introducing artist Sabhan Adam, as well as new pieces by Mort Golub, Chris Hipkiss, Tim Rowan, and Christine Sefolosha in various mediums ranging from tar on paper, to clay from New Jersey, and bark from New Guinea. We will feature shields from New Guinea Highlands; including a depiction of the super-hero, The Phantom. Lubos Plny and Leos Wertheimer will represent works from one of our special interest collections: Art Brut of the Czech Republic.

Also on view, will be Contemporary Studio ceramics from Australia, the US, Korea and Japan, as well as a cross section of ceremonial and memorial textiles from Asia. Cavin-Morris is a gallery that takes pride in its eclecticism and enjoyment of visual surprise. As always, our tribal and sake ware room will be open to the public.
