Moti Hasson Gallery is pleased to present AND SOON WE MAY TOUCH, the debut solo exhibition of New York artist Sean Ryan. For this exhibition, Ryan includes works in a range of media, all of which highlight the subtle effects produced through nature, from rustling foliage and the light cast by the moon, to the sun’s reflection on the water and a fallen pile of leaves. Ethereal perhaps, but closer inspection shows how the artist has, in fact, altered our experience of this supposedly “natural” set-up to create a serene, if surreal environment that visualizes the nuances procured from our everyday experiences.

Sean Ryan lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Ryan attended the University of Hartford Art School in West Hartford, Connecticut and whose work has been showcased at the Yale Art Gallery, Dumbo Arts Center, Center for Maine Contemporary Art, and White Box, among other exhibitions and projects. He has received various awards including the Skowhegan Fellowship and is a past resident of the LMCC Artist Workspace Program.
