Vellum Artzine was started with the intention of bringing emerging artists to the masses in a printed format. With the release of issue number 5, it was time to take it further and show some of the artists that have been featured in the magazine in a gallery/club setting for even greater exposure to both art lovers and music people alike. My background in music journalism has always pushed me to select the type of artist who combines the crucial elements of our pop culture and more edgy material and takes it to another level, making visually alluring works in the process. Although very different from each other, I find that all the artists who have appeared in past issues possess that all important `x-factor’ that can appeal to a wide range audience.
