The BAG Gallery’s first fall show, PLUS ONE, takes an unusual approach to curating. Brooklyn Artists Gym invited its Artists-in-Residence to invite an artist they respect to show with them, bringing new kinds of perspectives and resonances to each artist’s work. The result is an incredibly vibrant exhibition of paintings, photos and mixed media work by 16 different artists.

The artist pairings are Michael Glover and Amy Mahnick, Heidi Yockey and Bonnie Melton, Catherine Tafur and Anahita Vossoughi, David Egolf and Robert Weiss, Shelton Walsmith and Kristin D’Agostino, Bill Ades and Allison Coates, Marietta Fica and Maria Lago, Andrea Goldsmith and Maria Malatesta. The curator is Michele Jaslow.
