Von Lintel Gallery is pleased to pre sent a 15-year survey of artwork by Marco Breuer This exhibition coincides with the publication of Early Recordings, a monograph published by Aperture.

1892-2007 includes a wide range of Breuer’s photographic explorations, from recent works on chromogenic paper to early black-and-white photograms, gum bichromate prints, silkscreens, artist books, and unlimited newsprint editions This non-linear installation-with earlier photographs displayed alongside more recent work-includes many previously unseen works and gives insight into the full scope of Breuer’s ongoing investigation of photography.

For the last 15 years Breuer has challenged conventional notions of what constitutes a photograph Breuer’s work is distinct for its conside red use of materials, uncommon portrayal of time, and unparalleled sense of discovery.
