Galeria Janet Kurnatowski is pleased to welcome back Jackie Meier for her second solo exhibition, Quiver from September 7th – 30th. There will be a reception for the artist on Friday September 7th from 7-9 pm, and an artist talk on Saturday September 22nd at 2pm.

Meier creates abstract paintings that represent space through color and line. She designs a pattern of hand drawn lines to demonstrate flatness yet obtains a disjunction in space. To control and personalize a palate of color Meier forms her own paints from dry pigments, egg and water.

Jackie Meier graduated from Pratt in 2003 with an MFA in painting. She has also shown with Denise Bibro Fine Art, Kenise Barnes, and Broadway Gallery.
