The closing reception will take place on Saturday, September 22, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. Featured artists include Chelsea Cates, Ananda Cavalli, Robert Dupree, Jeremy Dyer, Patti Hallock, Kara Healey, Cheng-Shu Li, Katherine Nicholson, Erika Nusser, Rebecca Sahn, Eliza Sudol and Carrie Villines.

The MFA Photography program at Parsons is exceptional in both its structure and its comprehensive vision. It functions simultaneously as a studio and a think tank, in which students work together collaboratively while also developing their own artistic vision. The program dispenses with the traditional semester format, offering intensive eight-week summer sessions and independent studies during the fall and spring sessions to allow for optimum creative expression. The curriculum includes technical and academic studies as well as major studio work. Students become well versed in both the constantly changing art and science of photography and the technology driving those changes.
