In addition to being a visual artist, EYE has been an influential Japanese musician since the early 1980s. He is the leader of the band, BOREDOMS, who have performed all over the world, including shows with longtime fans Sonic Youth and Nirvana. EYE has also performed as a solo vocalist with Nam June Paik and John Zorn.
