“Logistics of Space” is an examination of emotional and physical challenges from everyday life that beckons a mental release. This is a show that combines photography, mixed media and video from three artists that all had a common thematic thread running through their work. All three artists, Leah Oates, Virginie Sommet, Pierre St-Jacques live and work in New York City. Their treatment of space due to the everyday life of the bustling city is explored, from the claustrophobia we experience in New York apartments, the escape to barren lands for quiet, and existence within one’s living space through meditation.
