A new 8’ x 16’ diptych mural on Triple Candie’s façade addressing issues of corporate and government power and, according to the artist, repatriation. One panel features the Nike AirJordan logo; the other consists of a silhouette of “Barney”, President Bush’s Scottish Terrier.
Grant is an alumnus of the Studio Museum’s Artist in Residence Project (2001), and has exhibited in group shows at Triple Candie in 2002 and 2003. She will have a solo exhibition in September at Roebling Hall, New York.
