Taxter & Spengemann is pleased to present the second solo exhibition of works by Lutz Bacher.
On September 12th, 2008, Bacher will open a one-person exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, MO. Her latest solo exhibitions were Bots at Mason Gross Galleries at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, and Organic at Ratio 3, San Francisco, CA, in 2006. Recent group exhibitions include: Some Kind of Portrait, curated by Simon Watson and Craig Hensala of Scenic, Marc Selwyn Fine Art, Los Angeles, CA; All Mirrors are Broken, curated by Anthony Huberman, Galerie LH, Paris, France; Closed Circuit, curated by Douglas Eklund The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY; Grey Flags, Sculpture Center, Long Island City, NY, and Bordeaux Musée d’Art Contemporain, Bordeaux, France; Defamation of Character, curated by Neville Wakefield, PS 1 Contemporary Arts Center, Long Island City, NY; Six Feet Under: Flagships for Chelsea, curated by Jarrett Gregory, White Box, New York, NY; and A Broken Arm, curated by Mari Spirito, 303 Gallery, New York, NY.
