Artists Luca Buvoli, Michael Elmgreen & Ingar Dragset, Anna Gaskell, Gary Simmons, Matthew Waldman and Tim Rollins will showcase works made in collaboration with kids from Chelsea’s Clinton School for Writers and Artists for the inaugural “Art Creates Communities” project organized by More Art.

The goal of “Art Creates Communities: Project in Chelsea,” a new project launched by non-profit association More Art and curated by Micaela Martegani, is for everybody to partake of the creative energy galvanizing the Chelsea neighborhood. The strategy is to show the younger generation how to tap its own budding creativity and convey the message that in life they should never be passive spectators but actively grasp challenges and changes.
