Haven is pleased to open its new doors at 50 Bruckner Blvd. Bldg. A, Bronx, NY 10454 amidst the many artists, new restaurants and developing Port Morris and Mott Haven communities. In over 2,500 square feet, Haven’s two main galleries will present a continuation of our initial dynamic curatorial and performance-based programs, and develop new thematic and retrospective exhibits. Haven Arts will continue to offer weekly life drawing, film screenings, “Food for Thought” and community outreach programs.
Haven opens both Gallery 1 and Gallery 2 for the exhibition “Solos” which features new works by 14 artists who previously had solo exhibitions in Haven’s original location. Curated by Barry Kostrinsky, “Solos” will include works in painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture and video which will showcase how these artists have developed, revisited or expanded upon the various themes and styles explored in their previous exhibitions.
