Takagi Masakatsu + Saeko Takagi is a unit for the artists to do what they usually do not do individually. In their collaboration, painter Saeko Takagi gives scanned original drawings to video artist and musician Takagi Masakatsu. He accommodates the drawings into moving picture on the computer.

Saeko Takagi is having her first NY solo exhibition “Zert” at ATM Gallery (511 West 20th street). After this exhibition, there will be her another exhibition at Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery in July 2005.

Domestically, Takagi Masakatsu ’s works were exhibited at the Kanazawa 21st Century Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo(MOT). Internationally, he has designed artwork for CDs and DVDs released on the Karaoke Kalk (Germany), Carpark (NY), Daisy World (Tokyo), and WK Tokyo Lab (Tokyo) labels. Takagi has also done numerous collaboration: He joined the would wide live tour of David Sylvian and Sketch Show (Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi), worked on a movie for NHK.
