Parisian Graphic artist Carla Talopp rarely settles in one place for very long. Her global search for inspiration has brought her to India, Cuba and recently China, where for two months she was artist-in-residence at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, a project supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culturefrance. Now she has stopped for breath and to exhibit the fruits of that residency at Access Art.

Carla’s beautiful collaboration with graphic artist and typographer Chen Zhengda, is a powerful series of large silk screens inspired by Chinese calligraphy, folklore, popular culture, street art and dragon kites.
