Elizabeth Neel’s first New York solo show features a series of oil-on-canvas works whose imagery is culled from the Internet

Neel was born in Vermont in 1975. She received her BA in Medieval European History from Brown University and attended the Diploma Program at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. In March 2005, a solo show of her video work was mounted at the Central Utah Art Center. In April, works were presented at DIVA (Digital Video Art Fair) in Brussels, Belgium, and included in a group show at the Volume Gallery in New York City.
