Wave Hill, Lehman College Art Gallery and the Bronx River Art Center have collaborated to present a photography exhibition that explores nature as an essential element in the fabric of the borough. At a point when the urban landscape is rapidly changing through development and ecological restoration efforts, photographs by a total of 25 artists explore a wide range of natural areas, including Van Cortlandt Park, the recently restored Bronx River and community gardens. The exhibition runs concurrently at Wave Hill (September 9–November 30), Lehman College Art Gallery (September 9–December 15) and the Bronx River Art Center Gallery (September 12–October 18).
