Kentler International Drawing Space is pleased to present Hedya Klein’s first New York solo exhibition. Ms. Klein takes advantage of the unique space of the Kentler gallery to form an earthly constellation of drawings, prints, and drawing animation. The works reflect close observation of small and insignificant things. Ms. Klein’s sensitive depiction and magnification change the objects context and create new worlds.
“But the cycle begins again, and that harnessing of natural energy, in endless patterns of excitation, exhaustion and renewal, might be the basis for all of Klein’s drawings. ... To her, the world is a packed and infinite resource of renewable growth.” - Shawn Hill
