Saturday, February 7th, 7pm: Andrew Lampert, “TABLES TURNED

Tonight finds the staging of one part of a trilogy still in process, all pieces centered on the director directed, each time achieving different ends from various means. Originally concocted, or rather developed, as part of a half-failed performance staged in Bristol, England, in late 2008. In that form, at that time, what didn¹t work I knew right away, but that was in mid-show, so I made a note to myself how to fix it later, which is now. Reconsidered, finely tuned and almost minimalist, for me anyway, this triptych of chamber pieces is intended for me and my projector. And, of course, for you in your chairs. Approx. 30 minutes. Potential pre-show explanation, possible post-show apology.

AND

Saturday, February 7th, 8pm: Rebecca Schiffman will perform songs from her newly released second album, “To be Good for a Day.” Rebecca’s “Nick’s Song” will be accompanied by a specially choreographed dance work by D.I.E. (Dance Improve Experiment.)

Sunday, February 8th, 8-9pm: Mariah Robertson, “BONFIRE FUNERAL” plus Special Guests including a reading by poet Jibade-Khalil Huffman

A one-time-only architecturally specific performance for Guild & Greyshkul.
