These six Australian artists make comment on a variety of concerns through various means of mapping – experimental feedback sounds and site-sensitive compositions (Graeve), photographic documentation of the archives of the American Museum of Natural History, New York (Cooper), personal memory and cognitive journeys (Rankin), new modes of geographical mapping based on world economic and social statistics (Bufardeci), site-specific symbols alluding to metaphorical and actual passages (Sadgrove) and video sequences with accompanying works on paper of physical foreign movement on a micro/macro level (Wright).
