Mr. Simms’ work has been exhibited widely, nationally and internationally. He represented the country of Jamaica in its first ever pavilion in the 49th Venice Biennial in 2001. New York City venues include P.S.1 MOMA and the Queens Museum of Art. Mr. Simms has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Rome Prize Fellowship and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
