Gallery Cantelmo is proud to present an exhibition featuring photography printed on PICTRAN ink jet paper. Four Japanese photographers are represented here not for their themes or aesthetic but rather for their fondness of the medium. The entire collection is featured on the various ink jet papers in the PICTRAN line including the Kyokushi, Baryta, and Matte. For all 4 photographers, PICTRAN zen marks their first New York show and the first time exhibiting as a group.

Yoshiaki Kita has been a professional photographer since 1991. He has had solo exhibitions in Japan and Korea and participated in more than 25 group show across Asia. This is his first NY showing.

Naoto Kimura began his photographic activities in 1992. He is a member of the NY Art Director Club, Hong Kong Art Director Club, and Nippon Art Director Club. This marks his 5th exhibit, 1st in NY.

Nakamura Youichi is showing work from the Hokkaido Winter collection. He is the Vice President of the Japan Travel Photographers Association and has exhibited 5 times in Japan and once in Mexico.

Takao Kajiwara has been an independent photographer since 1956. His was a professor at the Osaka Art School University from 2000 – 2005 and has been exhibiting in Japan since 1974.
