This exhibition will consist of work made over the past 25 years, much of it never before seen—think “anti-retrospective.” Attanasio installs his old and new work as an editor would construct a sequence of shots in a film, bending and blending his static materials into a cinematic experience. Attanasio, who is mainly known for his film and video work, was included in the 1997 Whitney Biennial and the 1999 show, Big As Life: The History of 8mm Film in America, at the Museum of Modern Art.
