Rebelling from the world of cookie-cutter art comes the collaborative group, Funner Projects. Raised on a steady diet of MacGyver and Grade 8 bolts, the founding members Justin H. Long and Robert “Meatball” Lorie are quite experienced in creating a spectacle. Coming from Neo-Middle Age/Post-Apocalyptic/Mad/Maximum/Industrial/Reinvention/Revelation/Retribution ideals, they give us Maintain Right, which pushes performance to the point of phenomenon by destroying conventions using a crossbow built from good ol’ fashioned scratch. The room will be so thick with tension, that it can be cut with a knife—literally.
