Edward Thorp Gallery is pleased to announce a group exhibit that brings together a group of artists affiliated with the gallery and whose work provides dramatic shifts in scale.
The included artists have contributed works that are not only singularly compelling, but which also highlight the range of possibilities in composition and allusion offered by working with both large scale and more intimate formats.
The ability to consistently produce with expression and intention within such diversity is reflected in all works in the show, from the monumental and almost public mural size to the intimate somewhat notebook scale also reveals each artists ability to consistently create a signature statement no matter how varied the shift in dimension.
Exhibiting artists include: Matthew Blackwell, Katherine Bradford, Rosanna Bruno, Neil Farber, June Leaf, Judith Linhares, Judy Simonian, Shawn Spencer, and Craig Taylor, among others.
Also on view will be a project room of Mid 20th Century Haitian Master Painters including: Bourmond Byron, Peterson Laurent, Wesner La Forest, and Odilon Pierre.
